Edinburgh's Hogmanay shows the world how to party with 3 days of spectacular events, great music and amazing crowds from every corner of the globe. Join thousands of marchers bearing firelit torches, enjoy dancing to traditional Scottish music beneath the striking edifice of Edinburgh Castle, and watch top stars and incredible fireworks from Princes Street Gardens.

Illuminate and energize your New Year celebrations with Fire & Light, an incredible outdoor experience. Get wrapped up with friends and family for a walk to take in the night air and explore some spectacular sights, as the Helix and Kelpies, into a mystical exploration of the zodiac signs

Shetland Arts bring in 2019 in spectacular style with the Peatbog Faeries in a celebration of the best contemporary folk music followed by supper and the chance to relax in one of the cinema screens before bringing in the bells for Hogmanay 2018!

Stonehaven’s Hogmanay Fireballs Ceremony is one of Scotland’s most memorable fire festivals. As the midnight bells ring out on Hogmanay, 45 locals parade up and down the High Street will swing fiercely flaming balls to burn off the bad spirits from the old year so that the spirits of the New Year can come in clean and fresh.

This is the recreation of a traditional street game last played in the 1930s. Two teams from the North and South of the town compete to pull the log (ropes attached) along the street to their respective goals. Anyone can join in if they have been born or lived in the parish of Stromness. 

Celebrate Family Hogmanay in the Honest Toun at The Brunton. Lantern making, samba drumming, panto, ceilidh swinging & fireworks! The Brunton is the place to bring your family this Hogmanay.

Bring in the bells at our open-air stage on Schoolhill with live music and a spectacular firework display from the roof of His Majesty's Theatre. So come and enjoy two top-class bands followed by the countdown everyone is waiting for!

To celebrate Hogmanay 2018 and bring in the New Year in style, Stirling will host two spectacular events on the iconic Stirling Castle Esplanade. Live music, food, friends and family under spectacular fireworks displays are on the table. There can be no better way to celebrate the New Year.
